Our Philosophy
At A Child's Garden School, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to foster the growth and development of your child. Our school, located on the serene campus of Church of Our Saviour, offers an enriching program designed to support all aspects of your child's development - cognitive, social-emotional, and motor skills. We deeply believe the first step to academic prowess is concept building through sensory learning. Additionally, we believe part of our job as educators is to help the child and their parents discover what kind of learner they are: auditory, visual, kinesthetic or a combination. By offering different sensory experiences when building concepts, we can engage the children no matter what kind of learner they are. Our students learn building blocks that will lead them to reading and arithmetic, but first they must build a sense of wonder and understanding through sensory exploration. Building a sense of wonder and curiosity will allow them to have a positive and exciting experience at school, encouraging them to follow their passions in the future.
In our child-centered environment, children are encouraged to explore, learn, and build meaningful peer relationships, which play a vital role in shaping a positive self-concept. Our accredited pre-school, operating five days a week, embraces each child's unique pace of growth and development, creating a space where they can flourish. As an outreach of the Church of Our Saviour's ministries, A Child's Garden School is accredited by the National Association of Episcopal Schools. This accreditation reflects our commitment to delivering a rich educational experience that aligns with the highest standards of early childhood education.
